Short Arm (1987-1999)
This Chicago-based
band recorded and performed in and around Chicago between 1987 and 1999. Formed in 1987 as "Short
Arm Inspectors" by Harry David Hickey, Sam Miller, and Chris Kreb from the remnants of their
old punk band "Political Discharge", Short Arm developed from a post-punk style to a
varied yet cohesive set of styles ranging from pop to punk to progressive.
